The Piney Creek area in South East Aurora/Centennial is a group of Neighborhoods within the Cherry Creek School District. Piney Creek homes were built from the 1980’s through the late 1990’s with some of the newer neighborhoods being completed in the past decade. The homes in Piney Creek are all modest size homes and can even reach as large as 8,000 Sq feet! because of the differences’ in Size the homes also range in price from the low $200,000’s and in prime markets some homes have reached and passed the $1,000,000 mark. Most of the different Neighborhoods have Community Pools, Tennis courts and lots of open space. With so much to do within the neighborhoods there is still a lot of other things in the area that have appeal for most home owners.
The Trails Rec center is located in Piney Creek just off Orchard Rd and Buckley and is a state of the art Rec Center with Indoor pools, water slides, a lazy river, Rock Climbing Walls, Indoor Basketball Courts, amazing fitness center, and an outdoor skate park. The Rec Center also sits right on the Cherry Creek Bike and Bridal trail that allows access down to Cherry Creek State Park and all that has to offer!
Some folks might not like the idea of Suburban living and one of the main reasons is proximity to shopping and dining. However most of the Piney Creek Neighborhoods are within walking distance to Shopping and Dinning.
The Piney Creek area has been home to lots of celebrity’s in Denver’s past 30 years with Broncos, Avalanche and most of the major sports teams having players and coach’s calling Piney Creek Home.
